Eaton / Powerware 9170+ Battery Module ASY-0529

A refurbished ASY-0529 battery module for Powerware 9170 and 9170+ UPS systems, fitted with brand-new high-rate VRLA batteries.

Module specifications

  • Five new 12 V battery blocks in series; 60 Vdc per module
  • Sealed lead-acid, valve-regulated (VRLA) batteries
  • OEM module rating: 7.2 Ah; this is the original Eaton rating, not a stated rating for the installed replacement blocks
  • Module weight: 14 kg (30 lb), per Eaton’s specification

What is included

One refurbished ASY-0529 chassis with five new battery blocks installed. Eaton’s 9170+ battery string uses two 60 V modules; this listing is for one module. Match the module reference and required quantity to your UPS configuration.

Refurbishment and installation

Refurbished in our shop: chassis inspection and cleaning, new batteries, connector and torque check, and a load test before shipping. The plug-in module supports tool-free replacement and hot swapping when performed according to the UPS manual.
